China Research Program
The Eastern European Studies Centre presents the China research program established in 2019
The China Research Program of the Center for Eastern European Studies, established in early 2019, analyzes the political, economic, socio-cultural processes related to China and its foreign policy. The publications and events aim to deepen the understanding of China’s strategic and geopolitical goals, their impact on Europe and transatlantic relations, as well as Lithuania’s strategic goals.
The research program is coordinated by analysts and associate experts of the Center for Eastern European Studies.
Today’s international processes and their analysis are no longer imaginable without China. This is relevant in the economic, geopolitical and security contexts. Therefore, we will strive to gain greater competence in analyzing these topics, bringing together the most prominent experts in the field and creating an environment for their closer cooperation. True, we will not limit ourselves to China – we will look at the broader processes around the Asian continent.
