Simona, Lithuania, 22

I was able to be involved in conference and research preparation, which was an excellent way to tie together my academic career with real world issues that our world is facing and will face into the future. Working in the realm of policy analysis within the Baltic region is full of complicating factors, and I gained critical tools for research and writing through my work with the EESC.

Maddie, The USA

I deepened my knowledge of the approaches developed by the EU and EaP countries to address hybrid threats and how the EU is developing its neighbourhood policy. These experiences were very useful for the development of my PhD project as they helped me to understand which the major obstacles encountered by the EU and its member states in dealing with hybrid threats
