As part of the program “Raising the Expertise of Grassroots Level Researchers in Belarus” Belarusian researchers are invited to participate in the training “Expanding the outreach of think tanks: utilizing the role of media”.
The training will be lead by the director of the Institute of World Policy (IWP) Alyona Getmanchuk, who is an experienced international journalist, foreign policy analyst, who is also very well versed in the peculiarities of work in NGOs and analytical centres. During the seminar, the role of social media in everyday work of think-tanks will be discussed, as well as the most effective ways to use them for effective communication. The participants will gain more knowledge about the uses of social media in the work of analytical centres in order to broaden the audience.
The training will take place on the 19th of February, 2015 in Vilnius. The organizers will provide the reimbursement of travel costs, accommodation and meals during the time of the training. Russian is the working language of the seminar.

Selected participants will be informed by the 1st of February the latest.
