Denis Cenusa is joining the Eastern Europe Studies Centre

Denis Cenusa is joining the Eastern Europe Studies Centre (EESC) team as an Associated Expert. “The Eastern Partnership countries’ political, economic, social and geopolitical development was and continues to be one of the EESC’s main areas of work. Denis’ work experience will contribute to deepening our knowledge and analysing the newest information,” the EESC’s Director Linas Kojala said.

Mr Cenusa studied political science and European studies programmes in Poland, Moldova and Latvia. Currently, he is pursuing a doctorate degree at Germany’s Giessen University. His area of expertise pertains to the Eastern Partnership Policy, particularly the prospects of Euro-integration for Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. Mr Cenusa is also an Associated Expert at the Moldovan analytical centre Expert-Grup.

Throughout this year, Mr Cenusa will prepare publications for the EESC regarding the development of the European Union’s Eastern Partnership Policy in DCFTA countries and will examine the most pertinent geopolitical processes.
